'InCATpacitated": Stafford Police, Animal Rescue Save Cat Stuck In Storm Drain Stafford police and local animal rescue officials rescued a cat stuck in a storm drain, authorities said.Officers received a call on August 10 about a cat wedged in a Devon Green storm drain and were unable to free him on their own, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Stabbing Suspect Sought: DC Police Looking To Identify Man After Assault D.C. police are seeking to identify the suspect in a recent stabbing incident, officials said. On August 3 at around 7:30 p.m., a male victim was found in the 1600 block of I Street suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. He was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, police reported. D.C. police are now offering a $10,000 reward for anyone with information that would lead to an arrest, authorities said. Popular DC Cupcake Hotspot Temporarily Shut Down By Health Department D.C. cupcake lovers will have to take a break from Georgetown Cupcake, after it was shut down by health inspectors, WTOP reported. On August 10, D.C. Health checked in with the cupcake store to see if they had renewed its license, which had expired in November 2021, WTOP said. Dulles Airport Officers Seize Over $95K In Unreported Currency From Travelers Custom and Border Protection officers at Washington Dulles International Airport seized over $95,000 from recent travelers, officials said. Library Public Safety Director Resigns After Fatal Shooting In DC: Reports The safety director of the D.C. Public Library announced his resignation after a fatal shooting at the Anacostia branch, according to FOX5DC.
