She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. Miguel Vazquez was arrested around 5 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 12, in New Haven, said the Connecticut State Police. Vazquez, age 51, of New Haven, was nabbed when officers from the state police drugs and gang units, and the Bridgeport Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Huntington Road in New Haven, state police said. Police Investigating After Three Bullet Casing Found On Long Island Street Police are investigating after three bullet casing were found following a shots fired notification on Long Island  The incident took place around 12:32 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, on Shonnard Avenue in Freeport, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, Freeport officers received a 911 call for a “Shot Spotter” activation on Shonnard Avenue. Long Island Man, Girlfriend Charged In Fatal Stabbing A Long Island man and his girlfriend have been arrainged have been arraigned for their roles in the stabbing death of a man in October. Isaiah Cust, age 30, of Roosevelt was arraigned on Thursday, Jan. 7 in front of Judge William O’Brien on one count of murder, said Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas.
