One Killed In Crash Between School Bus, Vehicle In Area, Police Say One person was killed during a crash between a school bus and a passenger car in the area. The crash took place around 1:34 p.m. on Route 9D at Red Schoolhouse Road in the Town of Fishkill, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash. Police did not reveal if the person killed was on the bus or in the vehicle. Pedestrian Critically Injured In Long Island Crash A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on Long Island. The incident took place around 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19,  in Coram when a 2011 Ford van, driven by Harold Egbert, struck a man in front of 100 Middle Country Road, said the Suffolk County Police. Pedro Borrero, age 36, of New Haven, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 15, when Connecticut State Police responded to the New Haven Superior Courthouse located at 121 Elm Street, in New Haven, for a complaint of a disturbance.
