Fairfield County Teen Nabbed For Downloading, Possession Of Child Porn, Police Say
A Fairfield County teen has been arrested for downloading and possession of child pornography.
Sam Gold, age 19, of Westport, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 6, following an investigation that took place in April, said Westport Police Lieutenant David Wolf.
According to Wolf, on Saturday, April 4, the Westport Police Department received information that a town resident was possibly downloading child pornography onto his computer.

Duo Nabbed With Loaded Handguns Attack Officer Following Single-Vehicle LI Crash, Police Say
Two men were arrested after resisting arrest following a traffic crash in which took loaded handguns were discovered.
Joshua Shawn Lozada, age 24, and Melvin Cardines Jr., age 39, both of Brooklyn, were arrested following the crash which took place around 2:40 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, in New Hyde Park, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, third precinct officers responded to a single-car auto accident involving a vehicle that slid off the road and struck a tree at Jericho Turnpike and Covert Avenue.

Long Island Man Nabbed For Threatening Business Owner With Handgun, Police Say
A man was arrested after allegedly threatening the owner of a Long Island business with a handgun and smashing the front glass of the building.
David Tejada, age 42, of Rockville Centre, was arrested around 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, for the incident that occurred in Roosevelt, said Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, Tejada went to Precision Tint & Glass Detail Center, 260 Centennial Ave., where his car was being repaired and banged on the rear garage door to get the attention of the owner.

Long Island Woman Nabbed For Stealing Two Rolex Watches Valued At $22K, Police Say
A 33-year-old Long Island woman has been arrested for alleged grand larceny of two Rolex watches from a local Macy's last year.
Candice McCullough, of Westbury, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 4, for the theft which took place around 6:25 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 16, in East Garden City.
According to detectives, McCullough entered the Macys located at 630 Old Country Road walked behind a display counter, removed a set of display cabinet keys belonging to the store, and then walked away.

Single-Vehicle Crash Seriously Injures Fairfield County Man, State Police Say
A Fairfield County man was seriously injured after losing control of his vehicle during a single-vehicle crash on Route 8.
The crash took place around 3:12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, on southbound Route 8, near Exit 22, in Seymour, when Brian Vincent, age 52, of Shelton, lost control of his vehicle, said the Connecticut State Police.
