She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Former Poughkeepsie HS Football Player Killed Helping Crash Victim A 28-year-old former high school football player was killed while helping victims of a crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway. Jaquan Cesar, a Beacon resident and Poughkeepsie High School graduate, was killed around 1:15 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on the expressway near Webster Avenue, said the NYPD. Two Injured In Crash On Spook Rock Road In Suffern Two people received minor injuries during a crash in Suffern due to slippery roads. The crash took place around 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at 185 Spook Rock Road, said the Ramapo Police. One person was reportedly trapped and had to be extricated.

Six Bunnies Killed In Milford Fire A noontime fire damaged an apartment building in Milford, causing the occupants to be displaced and killing six bunnies on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Fire dispatchers received a 911 call at approximately 12:05 p.m. reporting a fire in the six-unit structure located at 51 Broadway, said Milford Fire Department Battalion Chief Anthony Fabrizi. First arriving units reported a large volume of smoke coming from the second-floor windows. School Bus Crashes Into Tree, Injures Students In Suffern Several children received multiple minor injuries when a school bus hit a tree in Rockland. Three Nabbed For Danbury Home Invasion After Months-Long Investigation Police have cracked a home invasion/robbery case that occurred in October 2018 with the arrest of three people. The invasion took place around 5 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2018, when the residents were getting ready for work, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams. Drunk Driver Crashes Stolen Truck Into Tree In Chestnut Ridge, Police Say A 21-year-old Spring Valley man was arrested for allegedly stealing a landscaping truck and then crashing it into a tree while drunk. Beloved Barber Dies After Being Struck By Two Cars Crossing Street In Westchester It was like any other day, cutting hair and joking with customers until the end of the day when a local beloved barber walked out the door of the shop and was hit by two vehicles while crossing the street.
