Wanted Woman Spends $10K With Stolen Credit Card, Naugatuck Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying a woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card to make more than $10,000 in purchases in Naugatuck. The purchases were made in the West Haven area from February to March. At least one of the purchases was made at a Home Depot where the woman can be seen smiling as she leaves with a large purchase. One Stabbed At Dollar Store In Bridgeport This story has been updated. A 24-year-old man was stabbed during an incident at the Dollar General Store in Bridgeport, Bridgeport Police said. The incident took place around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, at the store located at 577 Fairfield Ave., said Capt. Brian Fitzgerald. The victim was stabbed in the abdomen during this incident. He was treated at St. Vincent’s Medical Center where he underwent surgery, Fitzgerald said.  "We believe the victim is expected to survive," he added. Fitzgerald did not offer further information.

The crash took place around 8 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, westbound on I-287 near the South Ridge Street overpass in Rye Brook, state police said.
