Woman Accused Of Stealing $17,000 From Wilton Jewelry Store A Queens woman was arrested by police in Fairfield County in connection with the theft of $17,000 in jewels from an area jeweler in 2017. Paula Hurtado, 38, of Astoria, was picked up at Bedford Correctional Center by Wilton police on an active warrant and extradited her to Connecticut to face felony larceny charges, the Wilton Police Department said.
