Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle West Islip Crash A motorcyclist received serious, but non-life threatening injuries, following a two-vehicle crash in West Islip. The crash took place around 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 2, on Montauk Highway at Pat Drive, said the Suffolk County Police. The motorcycle rider was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment, police said. There was no report of the extent of injuries to the other driver. The crash is under investigation. The incident took place around 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, when Rafael Sanchez, 37, of Manhattan, called the 72-year-old man and pretended to be his grandson, said the Nassau County Police. Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners In Northern Westchester A car crashed into the front of a Northern Westchester dry cleaners, taking out the entire window. The incident took place around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, when the sedan plowed into the front of the Greenest Organic Cleaners, in Ossining, said Ossining Police.
