55 Families File Class Action Lawsuit To Repeal NY's Religious Exemption Ban On Vaccines Fifty-five families are suing the state in Supreme Court challenging a new law that repeals the religious exemption for vaccinations. Attorneys Michael H. Sussman and Robert F. Police Seize Heroin, Cocaine During Early Morning Bust In Area Two people were arrested by Deerpark Police following a five-month investigation into illegal drug sales in town. Area Man Admits To Illegally Selling Sharks An area man who was arrested in March for having live sharks in his basement has pleaded guilty to the crime. Joshua Seguine, 38, of Lagrangeville, admitted Friday, July 12, to keeping live Sandbar sharts, a protected species, and attempting to sell them over the internet, said New York Attorney General Letitia James and Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos. Suspect Calls Police, Admits To Stabbing Person Multiple Times In Bridgeport A person was stabbed multiple times on Mill Hill Avenue in Bridgeport, and the suspect called the police to admit to the crime. The attack took place around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11, in the area of 140 Mill Hill Ave., said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. The victim suffered numerous stab wounds and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, he said. The person who allegedly attacked the victim later called the police and admitted to the crime. 22-Year-Old Man Found Floating In Water At Area Park A 22-year-old man was pulled from the water at Downing Park in the City of Newburgh after he was spotted lying facedown in the water. Three Suspects On Run After Saw Mill Parkway Police Chase Ends In Crash Police are on the hunt for three suspects who ran from police following a chase and crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester.
