Shelton Woman, 88, Hits Two In Stop & Shop Parking Lot, Causing One To Lose Leg, Police Say
An 88-year-old Shelton woman lost her driver's license after allegedly hitting two people in an Ansonia parking lot, causing one to lose a leg and seriously injuring the other.
The incident took place around 12:43 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, when the Ansonia Police Department responded to the Stop & Shop at 100 Division St., to investigate a report of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident, said Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch.

As this past Saturday, Aug. 24 came and went, many people were marking the three-month mark of the day Jennifer Farber Dulos, a New Canaan mother five, went missing.
But a day earlier, on Friday, Aug. 23, the attorney for her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, was busy on TV saying there may be certain records that are critical in clearing his client's name.
