The crash took place on Wednesday, July 31, at the Shorehaven Mobil Gas Station at 219 East Ave., police said. The women is a person of interest in this hit and run, police said. Two Nabbed During Warrant Raid At Stratford Home A 19-year-old man and a juvenile have been arrested for allegedly possessing a stolen gun and marijuana seized during a raid of a home. The warrants search was executed on Friday, Aug. 23, by members of the Stratford Police Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit and the SRT Team following an investigation focusing on drug sales and firearm-related crimes in Stratford, said Capt. Man Charged In Stabbing Death Of Woman In Bethel A Bethel man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman to death at an area home. David MacDowell, 34, was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 24, after coming to the Bethel Police Department minutes after police had responded to a home on Plumtrees Road and discovered the woman suffering from several stab wounds, Bethel Police said.
