Two Nabbed During Warrant Raid At Stratford Home
A 19-year-old man and a juvenile have been arrested for allegedly possessing a stolen gun and marijuana seized during a raid of a home.
The warrants search was executed on Friday, Aug. 23, by members of the Stratford Police Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit and the SRT Team following an investigation focusing on drug sales and firearm-related crimes in Stratford, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.
The subjects of the investigation, a 15-year-old juvenile, and Zaire Dixon, 19, of Stratford, were arrested without incident during the search, Eannotti said.

Westchester Woman, 32, Shot, Killed In Massachusetts
A Westchester County woman was shot to death in Massachusetts while sitting in a vehicle.
Stephanie Olivieri, 32, of Yonkers, died after being shot once while sitting in the vehicle in Pittsfield, Massachusetts near the intersection of Columbus Avenue and South John Street around 3:22 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, said Andy McKeever, a spokesman for the Berkshire District Attorney's Office.
Olivieri, formerly of Becket, Massachusetts, died at Berkshire Medical Center shortly after the shooting.

Convicted Felon Nabbed With Loaded Gun, Pounds Of Pot, Police Say
A Stratford woman was nabbed for alleged possession of a loaded, stolen firearm and pounds of marijuana during a warrant raid on her home.
The warrants search was carried out on Wednesday, Aug. 28, by members of the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit following an investigation into drug sales and firearms-related crimes in the city, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
