Man Nabbed For Burglary After Pawning Items He Stole, Westport Police Say
Westport Police nabbed a man wanted for a June burglary after records revealed that he had allegedly pawned some of the items stolen.
Sean McLaughlin, address unknown, was arrested at Norwalk Superior Court on Tuesday, Sept. 10, by Westport Police for a June 16, burglary at J&J Car Care Center, said Westport Police Lt. Anthony Prezioso.

East Hampton Man Charged With DWI Following Crash
An East Hampton man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle while allegedly drunk, police say.
Wilson Guerrero, 50, was arrested around 2 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 26, on East Hampton Drive, said the East Hampton Police.
When officers approached the vehicle they reported detecting a strong odor of alcohol, police said.
After "performing poorly" on a series of field sobriety tests, Guerrero was charged with DWI and released on $1,500 cash bail.
Man Arrested After Repeatedly Entering Westport Home He Didn't Own, Police Say
A man who claimed to own a home that he kept walking into, was arrested by police for criminal trespass and burglary.
DeShawn Harper, of Westport, was arrested on a warrant on Thursday, Sept. 12, when Bridgeport Police contact Westport Police that they had arrested Harper on another charge, said Westport Police Lt. Anthony Prezioso.
The entire incident began on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, when Westport police responded to a residence for a trespassing complaint, Prezioso said.
