Pedestrian Hit While Crossing Route 59 A pedestrian received non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 59 in Monsey. The incident took place on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the evening at Route 59 and Requa Lane, Ramapo Police said. Montauk Man Accused Of Growing Marijuana Plants On His Property A 56-year-old Montauk man was nabbed by East Hampton Police for allegedly growing marijuana on his property. Joseph Noll was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 8, after police found marijuana growing on his property on Fleming Road without destroying the plants, East Hampton Police said. When police visited the home they found two potted plants on the north side of his home. He was charged with unlawfully growing cannabis and released on an appearance ticket.
