Multiple People Injured In Five-Vehicle Bridgeport Crash Multiple people were injured during a five-vehicle crash on Barnum Avenue in Bridgeport. Bridgeport Police responded to the report of a crash around 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, said Scott Appleby, Bridgeport's director of Emergency Management. Appleby said that one of the people responsible for the crash fled the scene and has not been captured. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, Appleby said. Following the crash, the intersection of Barnum Avenue and Elizabeth Street was closed.

Westchester resident and Rockland County high school graduate Daniel R. Foley, 46, of New Rochelle, died Saturday, Feb. 22, from pancreatic cancer. Man Wanted On Assault Warrant Nabbed During Traffic Stop, Wilton Police Say A 22-year-old man who allegedly provided police with a fake name and was wanted on a warrant for assault is behind bars following a traffic stop. Asuel Pujols Median, of Danbury, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 17, by Wilton Police following a traffic stop on Ridgefield Road, said Wilton Police Capt. Robert Cipolla. Human Skull Found By Hiker At Harriman State Park A human skull found by a hiker at Harriman State Park is part of an ongoing investigation by state police. The hiker found the skull on Sunday, Feb. 16, in the Anthony Wayne Recreation Area of the park said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. The recreation area is a wooded valley with playing fields and hiking trails in the park which is located in Rockland and Orange counties.
