19-Year-Old Long Island Woman Linked To Stolen Vehicle, Credit Cards, Police Say A 19-year-old Long Island woman was arrested after being nabbed in possession of alleged stolen goods in connection with an earlier crime involving a stolen vehicle. Taylor Loccisano, of Hicksville, was arrested on Friday, May 1, by Nassau County Police, in connection with the arrest of Clifton Woods, 19, on Thursday, April 30, police said. According to detectives, Woods was arrested after being stopped allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Hicksville. Injured Owl Fledgling Saved By Wildlife Officers In Area An injured owl fledgling was saved by members of the Department of Environmental Conservation after finding it in Sullivan County. The owl was saved after the DEC received a report on Wednesday, April 22, in the town of Neversink. Department officers Glen Parker and Christopher Doroski responded and were able to local the owl and capture it without incident.  The owl was taken to the New Paltz Animal Hospital where it was evaluated and determined to be underweight and suffering from an injured keel.  The owl will be taken to the Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center…

Dead Man Found Floating In Northern Westchester Pond, Police Say A dead man was found floating in a pond in Northern Westchester by a police sergeant on routine patrol.
