A car crash closed Philadelphia roads being used to reroute traffic due to the Interstate 95 collapse Friday morning, June 16 in Philadelphia. The roadway had reopened at State Road and Princeton Avenue as of 10:30 a.m., officials said. Crews remained at the scene and motorists were being urged to take alternate routes (Roosevelt Boulevard). Philadelphia Murder-Suicide Victim ID'd
Police have identified one person killed in a Philadelphia murder-suicide overnight. Katie Dales, 29, was shot multiple times in the head inside an apartment at 100 E. Roosevelt Boulevard around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, May 20, city police said. The shooter, identified only as a 27-year-old man, suffered a single gunshot wound to the mouth, police said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene just before 12:20 a.m., police said. A weapon was recovered and a motive was unknown. According to 6abc, two children were at the scene. It was unclear if they witnessed the shooting.

PA Skydiver's NJ Death Probed By FAA: Report
The Federal Aviation Administration and officials in Gloucester County are investigating a fatal skydiving accident. Timothy Joseph Slachta, 48, of Garnet Valley, died Wednesday, May 10 while jumping over Monroe Township, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer and 6abc. Small Plane Lands In Chesco Field After In-Flight Accident: Authorities
A small aircraft had to land in a Chester County field on Wednesday after striking some power lines on its descent in New Garden Airport, authorities told Daily Voice. The plane, a single-engine Aerostar Yak-52, touched down at about 1:15 p.m. on March 22, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
