On Friday, July 18, a man and a woman entered the 2nd Street clothing store at 10 S. Park St. and proceeded to the luxury bag section, Montclair police said. Raccoon Bites Two People In Westfield, Rabies Alert Issued A racoon bit two people in Westfield, authorities announced Tuesday, July 22. The incidents occurred on the 400 block of 1st Avenue and the 700 block of Scotch Plains Avenue, the Westfield Health Department said in a public health alert. At 7 p.m., officers responded to Cole Road after an ATV crash at the Readington Township Trail Association's Cole Road Greenway Trail, Readington Township police said. Piscataway Man Fatally Shot In Irvington: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Piscataway man was fatally shot in Irvington on Monday, July 21, authorities said. At 10 p.m., Irvington police responded to 100 Union Ave. and found Anwar Jackson in the street with multiple gunshot wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said.
