Man Charged With Sexual Offense In Area A 40-year-old man has been arrested allegedly for having inappropriate sexual contact with a victim in the area. Tyson M. Kreig, of Red Hook, was arrested by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office on Thursday, Jan. 21, in connection with a recent investigation into inappropriate sexual contact, said Captain John Watterson. Kreig's arrest comes after a week-long investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct. Fairfield County Resident Punches Person For Walking In His Yard, Police Say A Fairfield County man who allegedly punched a person for walking in his yard and then threatened to get a gun is being held on a $25,000 bond. Norwalk Police were alerted to the incident around 7:24 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 24, when the department received multiple 911 calls about a disturbance between two individuals in the roadway on Villaway Road, said Sgt. CT Man Sentenced For Fentanyl, Crack Distribution Offenses A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for the distribution of fentanyl and crack cocaine. Nathaniel DeJesus, age 21, of Hartford, was sentenced to the prison term followed by four years of supervised release on Monday, Jan. 25, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Two Vehicles Burglarized, Windows Smashed At Fairfield County Park Police in Fairfield County are once again warning residents to lock their vehicle after another two vehicles were burglarized over the weekend. The latest larcenies took place on Sunday, Jan. 24 at Irwin Park in New Canaan, said Chief Leon Krolikowski. Krolikowski said a Honda Pilot and a Subaru Legacy were burglarized at the park, located at 848 Weed St. The front passenger side window was smashed on both vehicles to access the valuables left inside. Police Looking For Person Who Burglarized LI Business Police are asking the public for help identifying the person who burglarized a Long Island business. The incident took place around 1 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 22, in Floral Park Centre, said the Nassau County Police. Alert Issued For Scammers Posing As Law Enforcement In Fairfield County Police are warning residents of phone scammers posing as local law enforcement and threatening residents there is a warrant for their arrest. The scammers then demands the resident pay a large amount of money, such as $3,000 to have the charges dismissed, according to an advisory from the Norwalk Police Department. The scammer usually asks for payment by money transfer, gift card, or some type of electronic money transfer, police said. Police Searching For Man Who Jumped From Bridge Into Connecticut River State Police report that a man got out of his vehicle while on a bridge and jumped into the Connecticut River. According to the Windsor Locks Police Department, the man exited the vehicle on Sunday, Jan. 24, around 1 p.m., while on Dexter Coffin Bridge and jumped into the river. The police department responded as did fire and other agencies to search for the victim. As of Monday, Jan. 24, a body has not been recovered. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

Alert Issued For 15-Year-Old Who's Gone Missing In Fairfield County Police in Fairfield County are asking for the public's help to locate a missing teenager. Greenwich Police are attempting to locate Sydney Renee Roswess, age 15, who was last seen at Kids in Crisis on Sunday, Jan. 24. She is 5-foot-5 with blonde braids. Marine From Fairfield County Awarded For Saving Toddler A Fairfield County marine has been recognized for her heroic service saving a toddler following a vehicle crash. Lance Cpl.
