One Hospitalized In Two-Car Crash On Route 6N One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Route 6N in Mahopac Falls. The crash took place Friday, March 22, at Route 6N and Hill Street, said Jack Casey, spokesman for the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. Carmel Police units were on the scene as fire units arrived. EMS began triage as fire police took over traffic, freeing up CPD to investigate the crash, Casey said. One person was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.  As the vehicles were cleared from the roadway, fire police assisted with traffic.
