Man Masturbates In Shopping Plaza At Least Twice, Newtown Police Say
A Bethel man has been arrested for allegedly masturbating with his penis exposed while sitting in his vehicle in a shopping plaza, not once, but at least twice, Newtown Police said.
Newtown received the reported of the masturbating man last week while in his vehicle at the Sand Hill Shopping Plaza, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde.
Police began an investigation and conducted surveillance in the plaza parking lot using a female officer as a decoy.

Murderer Of Pearl River 16-Year-Old Violated Parole By Being Drunk, Report Says
Richard LaBarbera, the convicted murderer of a 16-year-old Pearl River teen who was freed just two weeks ago on parole, was rearrested for reportedly being drunk.
LaBarbera, 66, was released earlier this month amid a hailstorm of criticism from lawmakers, residents, and cops, after serving nearly 40 years for the 1980 murder of Paula Bohovesky. His co-killer, Robert McCain, was recently denied parole.

A man with an alleged history of threatening behavior toward his family spent consecutive days following his ex-wife and daughter to locations where they frequent, including their home, said police in Fairfield County.

Man Arrested For Possession Of Marijuana, MDMA, Sheriff's Office Said
A 32-year-old man was nabbed for alleged possession of marijuana and MDMA after being stopped for violating traffic laws.
John P. Gordon, of the Bronx, was arrested around 9:05 p.m., Thursday, July 25, after being stopped by a member of the Rockland County Sheriff's Office on patrol on Route 59 in Clarkstown, said Sgt. Christopher Corbett.
During the traffic stop, Gordon was found to be in possession of more than eight ounces of marijuana as well as pills which field-tested positive for the presence of MDMA, he said.

Two Men Nabbed Passing Counterfeit Money At Shopping Plaza In Wilton, Police Say
Two of three men were caught allegedly attempting to pass counterfeit money at two Wilton stores, police said.
The incident took place around 5:23 p.m., Monday, July 29, when Wilton Police were called to the Gateway Shopping Plaza on Danbury Road for a report of three men attempting to pass counterfeit money at Michael's and Sally Beauty, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.
Officers arrived on scene and detained two Long Island residents: Latrell Garrett, 19, of Wyandanch, and Tyreese Spragg, 19, of Brentwood, Kluk said. A third suspect got away.
