Another CT National Guard Crew Heads To Caribbean To Help After Hurricane Another cargo plane and seven more Connecticut National Guard airmen are heading to the Caribbean to offer assistance with recovery efforts after Hurricane Maria slammed the islands. Stamford Teen Busted With Pot, E-Cigarette At Train Station In New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A juvenile from Stamford was busted with marijuana, a bong and an e-cigarette at the Talmadge Hill Train Station in New Canaan, police said.  At 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, an officer spotted the teen inside a parked car at the Metro-North train station and an investigation turned up the contraband, police said. The teen was issued a summons on a charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and an infraction on a charge of possession of an e-cigarette in a public place.

Fairfield Police Seek Driver Of SUV That Fled Scene Of Accident FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Fairfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that fled the scene of an accident after causing a large amount of damage.The SUV is a white older model Dodge Durango that is missing its front left bumper, police said. The driver of the vehicle is wanted for evading responsibility of an accident after causing a large amount of property damage on Mill Hill Terrace. Police did not specify when the accident occurred.
