Poughkeepsie Man Pestered By Donald Trump Caller ID Mixup
It was amusing at first, then got "scary," said Poughkeepsie resident Richard Rhoades who up to two weeks ago when the problem was resolved, was pestered for two years from callers thinking he was Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
That is because the caller I.D. on his telephone land-line had the name of the Republican Presidential nominee, said Rhoades, 76, a retired respiratory therapist and EMT.

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford Fire Department will aptly open October, which is Fire Safety Month, with a Saturday, Oct. 1 fire safety annual open house at its headquarters.
The day will feature dramatic demonstrations of a live fire and auto extrications, home safety house demonstrations for kids every half-hour, an activity project with Home Depot and a food truck, among other offerings.
The public is welcome from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at fire headquarters, 2750 Main St.
