Police ID North Haven Teen Motorcyclist Killed In Wallingford Crash A 19-year-old man from Connecticut has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision with an SUV, authorities said. Aidan Russell, of North Haven, was riding a Suzuki SV650 on Tuesday, July 8, when it collided with a Lexus on South Colony Road near the Interstate 91 entrance in Wallingford, according to police. Russell died at the scene from his injuries, despite emergency crews performing life-saving measures, Wallingford police said. Explosive Devices, Bomb-Making Material Found Inside Seymour Home: Police What began as a call for a domestic disturbance turned into a high-stakes police operation after officers uncovered what appeared to be improvised explosive devices inside a Connecticut home. Water Wreck Snarls I-91: Bottled-Water Truck Flips In North Haven, Driver Hurt A tractor-trailer carrying 45,000 pounds of bottled water overturned on Interstate 91 in North Haven, sending the driver to the hospital and bringing traffic to a standstill across parts of the highway and nearby roads, authorities said. Man Wanted In Waterbury Murder Arrested Following Florida Traffic Stop; 2 Men Remain On Run Florida police have arrested a man wanted in a 2018 Connecticut murder, while two other suspects remain on the run, authorities said. Kevin Dias, 33, was arrested during a traffic stop in Mascotte, Florida, Waterbury police said Wednesday, July 9. Danbury Teen Who Drowned On July 4th Had Big Dreams; Community Rallies Around Family The community is rallying around the family of an 18-year-old who drowned while swimming in a Connecticut reservoir on the Fourth of July. Ángel Chumpi Rios was reported missing around 3 p.m. after entering the water at Mountain Pond, police said. Danbury firefighters found him around 5:30 p.m. and took him to an area hospital, but doctors could not save his life. Missing Wallingford Motorcyclist Found Dead After Plunge Down Oxford Embankment A missing 24-year-old Connecticut man was found dead at the bottom of a deep embankment, where he had crashed his motorcycle, authorities said. Robert David Connolly Jr., of Wallingford, was found shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, off of Guntown Road in Oxford, Connecticut State Police said. Central Mass Man Indicted In Murder Of Father Of Young Girl; Body Found In Woods: DA A 32-year-old Worcester man has been indicted on a murder charge after investigators found a man's body in Hubbardston earlier this year, prosecutors said. Ryan Wilcox is being held without bail in the death of Mitchell Burke, 32, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. A passerby found Burke's body in a wooded area off Brigham Street around 10 a.m. Jan. 4, authorities said.
