Stamford Man Hid Cocaine In Can Of Pringles, Police Say A routine traffic stop for having malfunctioning car lights led Wilton Police to nail a Stamford man for having cocaine hidden inside a Pringles can. William Garcia-Perez, 35, was seen driving south on Danbury Road with only one working headlight and a malfunctioning brake light when he was stopped around 9:30 p.m. Friday, said Lt. Robert Kluk. Hudson Valley Man Caught Impersonating Officer, Police Say State Police are asking residents who may have been stopped by a person saying they were an on-duty police officer to contact their offices following the arrest of a local man who posed as an officer. Christopher S. Kirkpatrick, 27, of Wawayanda, was charged with criminal impersonation on Monday, Feb. 5 after stopping a motorist traveling westbound on the I-84 in Wawayanda, said Trooper Steven Nevel. This Rockland Town Has The County's Lowest Jobless Rate If you live in Rockland County and just happen to reside in Ramapo, then chances are you have a job, according to the New York State Department of Labor. Drunk Driver Hits Tree, Knocking Out Passenger In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 22-year-old man is facing multiple charges of DWI after driving into a tree, knocking a passenger unconscious, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Three Severely Burned, Dog KIlled In Beacon House Fire Three people received severe burns after running down a staircase through fire, and another jumped from a second-story window in an effort to escape flames ripping through their home. Uber Overdose Leads To Norwalk Man's Arrest A Norwalk man is behind bars for selling drugs to a person who later overdosed in an Uber, according to Norwalk Police. Kyle Lors, 23, of 17 Avenue C, was busted following an investigation into an Oct. 8, 2017, incident involving a drug overdose inside an Uber car, said Lt. Terrence Blake. During the incident, police found a victim inside the car at the intersection of Grist Mill and Route 7 who had overdosed on heroin.
